We're really excited to announce our first event of 2021 and it just so happens to be international womxn's month! We’ll have multiple sessions where you can focus on taking charge of your career progression with actionable steps to reach your goals and another session where Coding Black Females talk about the power of community and how a community can help you to progress on your journey.
We'd also like this event to be open to anyone who'd like to attend. It's important that those in a position of privilege understand the challenges womxn face, and it's proven that allyship and sponsorship can help us sail ahead even faster in our careers.
We're so thrilled to be partnering with Coding Black Females for this event, it's so exciting to partner with another fab community for womxn! Thank you to Cleo for sponsoring the event and making it happen.
📖 SWAG ALERT!

We wanted to spread our 2021 message of positivity to as many of you as we can, we're giving away 50 bespoke positivity journals created with the wonderful Talk & Tell! So keep your eyes peeled on your inbox as we'll be picking 50 people at random to get a journal.
✨ What we got up to in January
We've taken it slow this year to find our feet and really listen to what our community has been asking for. We know that the pandemic has taken a toll on a lot of people and we don't want to add the Zoom fatigue or the expectation of being constantly online.
We ran a survey in our last email which we still would love responses for, so if you've not had your say make sure to let us know what you think!
Based on your feedback so far we're planning a lot more workshop style events, with time for you to get out the pen and paper and take the time to focus on you.
(We'd stilll love you to keep cameras on though if you feel comfortable! We love seeing you all)

😢 Some sad news
As we welcome Laxmi to the Triangirls team, it's also time for us to say goodbye to Anna. If you've been with us from the start, you'll know that Anna and Rachael co-founded Triangirls. But don't worry, Anna will still be supporting and advocating for Triangirls even if not directly involved. It's been wonderful having Anna as part of the team and we've had great fun together!
✨ Appreciation shout out
We'd like to say a big thank you to Radhika who's been helping us shout about what we're up to on socials!
We love that people within the community want to volunteer their time to help Triangirls. We do all of this voluntarily and all have full-time roles in tech, so sometimes it can get pretty busy and we really appreciate others chipping in with their time.
🤓 Jobs
We have a new website and an updated jobs board! You'll still get monthly updates of new roles with brilliant companies but we wanted to make sure you had an easy place to find those roles.
