This past May, we worked with BrainStation to share their mission to increase accessibility to essential digital skills for underrepresented groups, regardless of an individual's background and economic circumstances. We believe it’s crucial to make digital skills accessible for everyone as we try to change the number of women and non-binary people in tech.
Due to the success of the last tuition-free bootcamp, BrainStation is hosting it again in August to help even more people gain the skills they need to begin a career in tech!

Hearing success stories from the community and the relationships we’ve helped to facilitate really makes our hearts sing. Not only do we love learning and gaining new skills, it’s a core part of our community and a focus at all of our events. We’ve found that conversations and discussions about what it’s like working in tech and how we can take actionable steps to create fulfilling careers and personal lives has been truly valuable.
We’re often asked how people can switch careers or find mentors and how they can learn more. Naturally we’ll always recommend reaching out to others in the community to learn about their experiences but some of our community have taken the plunge and are learning on the job or by taking part in a bootcamp. There's no single route when it comes to changing your career path!
🙌 Start A Career In Tech For Free
BrainStation’s upcoming London bootcamps in Web Development, Data Science, and UX Design will be tuition-free (regular tuition £9,500). Acceptance into the programmes will be decided on a competitive basis.
To support Brainstation's core mission to empower the next generation of tech professionals, they have collaborated with their network of hiring partner organisations to make their in person programmes free for all students. This is possible thanks to support from companies like Microsoft, EY, and Twitter.
Over the last decade, BrainStation has offered these life-changing programmes across multiple cities, working with over 500 instructors from the most innovative organisations, and a talent network of more than 6,500 hiring partners at over 2,700 companies. More than 90% of our graduates find work at companies such as:
