💰Industry Budget cuts = Less D&I Funding
Unfortunately, this year we were not able to host as many events as we would have liked due to the impact of the economic downturn on businesses. Many companies have had to cut their budgets for diversity and inclusion initiatives, making it difficult for us to secure sponsors for our events. But don't worry, we're not giving up! We remain committed to providing a safe space for women and non-binary people in tech, and we will continue to do so in the coming year.
🗓 Events to support you and your career
In March, we celebrated International Women's Day with a special event featuring guest speakers, networking opportunities, and workshops. It was a great way to kick off the year and highlight the importance of supporting and empowering women in tech. 💪
In September, we hosted an event focused on resilience and career development. We discussed how to stay strong and adaptable in the constantly-changing world of tech, and how to play to your strengths to build a successful career. 💻 👩💻We've also been featuring amazing community members on our medium blog. If you've missed our posts, don't worry! You can find them all here. If you want to get featured or know someone who would please get in touch at hello@triangirls.com
