🎃 Online Event: Overcoming Fear of Feedback
The spooky season is upon us! We love to run an events that are themed and we'd like to continue on this path to help us all face our fears.
This year, we’re tackling that one thing we’re all afraid of… feedback! During this event, Cecile Eschenauer and Laxmi Kerai will share how we can not be so scared of giving and receiving feedback.
Cecile - You’ve received negative feedback. Now what?
Cecile is a Life & Career Coach who supports women that find themselves stuck at a crossroad in their lives and need help to move forward.
Having spent 15 years working in the digital industry, she has received loads of feedback and has experienced first hand how it can contribute to the creation of limiting beliefs and fears. Her talk will teach us strategies in how not to fall into that trap.
Laxmi - Delivering feedback in a remote world
Laxmi is an Agile Delivery Manager at Projects by IF. Having worked in the digital industry for over 12 years, she has delivered lots of feedback and it’s not always landed so well. Not many people talk about this. Add in the complication of being remote, and feedback delivery feels even scarier. Her talk will uncover the house of horrors in delivering feedback and introduce some strategies to help support the feedback giver.

🎤 Don't be Shy - A workshop with Ali Levin
In September we worked with Pollen to bring a very special event to our community. We know that self-promotion can make you cringe, especially in the workplace or when interviewing, so Pollen connected us with Coach Ali Levin to share her skills and knowledge through a virtual workshop. This workshop focused on identifying your strengths and not being too shy to self promote.
The event gave everyone a much-needed boost of confidence thanks to Ali's coaching tactics. There was an excitable and optimistic post-event buzz. Thank you for helping us to feel empowered to speak loud and proud about our strengths and skills!
